Every grade starts with the first Layer

A sleeve is the only thing that ever ouches your card — everything else just protects the sleeve. Grade Saver Pro sleeves are cut from ultra-clear, archival polypropylene: Inner Card Sleeves in 40 µm film that hugs the card like a second skin (perfect fit for double sleeving), Base Card Sleeves in 60 µm film as the everyday standard (the community calls them penny sleeves — ours are just built tighter), and Pull Tab Card Sleeves with a die-cut tab that lifts the card free from a toploader in one motion. No tweezers, no prayers. Every format is independently tested for acid, PVC and lignin, and sized to the micron for the next layer: inner into base, base into toploader — no bunching.

Which sleeve for what?

Rule of thumb: an inner sleeve under anything with value. A base sleeve for everyday handling. A pull tab whenever the card moves in and out of a toploader regularly.

FAQs

What is double sleeving?

Double sleeving means: a snug inner sleeve first (opening up), then a base or pull tab sleeve over it (opening down). The card is sealed from all sides. Our Inner Sleeves (64.5 × 89 mm, 40 µm) are sized exactly for our Base Sleeves (67 × 94 mm) — no bunching, no jamming.

Which sleeve size fits Pokémon, MTG or One Piece?

All three use standard-size cards (63.5 × 88.9 mm) — every Grade Saver Pro standard-size sleeve fits. Yu-Gi-Oh! uses Japanese size (59 × 86 mm), which we currently don't offer.

Are the sleeves acid-free?
