Toploader Card Shield

Display-Level Protection, Backpack Tough
The Details of Toploader Card Shield
Show it off, trade it, carry it - without fear. The Toploader Card Shield takes the classic rigid holder and pushes it into premium territory. Crafted from crystal-clear PETG with UV-resist additives, each 35-pt shield blocks >90 % of harmful light while staying optically neutral. Beveled inner corners prevent edge dings during insertion; diamond-polished seams banish whitening. Internal tolerances work flawlessly with Grade Saver Pro sleeves for a slide-in glide, not a scrape. Whether you’re mailing to PSA or throwing your binder in a backpack, structural rigidity keeps cards flat and corners sharp. Collectors asked for museum clarity and field durability - this is both.

FAQs
Do I need a sleeve inside the toploader?
Yes, always. A sleeve cuts the friction on insertion and keeps dust out of the shield. Our Base and Pull Tab Sleeves are dimensioned for exactly this fit.
Can I submit a card to PSA in a toploader?
No. PSA, CGC and BGS require semi-rigid holders, because a card can be removed from those without risk. Use our Semi Rigid Card Shield for submissions.
What does 35pt mean?
1 pt equals 1/1000 inch, so 35pt is the pocket depth for a standard trading card including its sleeve. Thicker cards such as relics need a larger gauge.
How much UV light does the shield block?
The PETG carries UV additives that block more than 90 % of harmful light while staying optically neutral, so colours are not tinted on display.
Why do cheap toploaders show white lines along the edges?
Unpolished seams whiten under pressure. Our shields are diamond-polished at the seams and beveled at the inner corners, so edges stay clear and cards do not catch.
