One card. Three layers. Zero regrets.

Every Grade Saver Pro layer does one job: the inner sleeve manages contact with the card (40 µm), the outer sleeve takes daily handling (60 µm), the shield absorbs transport — Toploader for storage and shipping, Semi Rigid for grading submissions. Each layer is sized to the micron to fit the next. No folklore, just fit.

Why layers

Every layer does one job well. The inner sleeve manages contact, the outer sleeve takes the daily handling, and the shield absorbs transport. Ask one layer to do all three and it will do all three badly.

Layer 1

The only thing that touches your card

Acid-free 40 µm high-tension film, cut to hug the card — not the sleeve above it. Optically pure, adds negligible thickness: stacks stay flat, binder pages lie flat. Archival-safe against the surface that matters most.

Layer 2

Daily handling

Base or Pull Tab Card Sleeves - ultrasonically sealed edges, 60 µm ultra-clear anti-static film. The Pull Tab adds a die-cut tab that lifts the card past the seam in one motion, so corners never touch a thing.

Transport & grading

Toploader Card Shield
Crystal-clear PETG, 35pt, blocks >90 % of harmful UV light — for storage, display and shipping.

Semi Rigid Card Shield
Lab-grade PET that flexes to absorb shocks and springs back flat — the format PSA, CGC and BGS ask for at submission.

Graded cards & display

Once it comes back a 10, protect the grade: the PSA Graded Slab Sleeve (55 µm anti-static, resealable flap) keeps the slab scratch-free — because a scuffed case undersells a Gem Mint 10.

The Magnetic Card Case makes raw grails shelf-ready with UV-resistant acrylic and a snap-lock closure.

Which layer does your card need?

I PLAY WITH THE CARD
Use a Base or Pull Tab Card Sleeve - 60 µm handles shuffling and daily wear; the pull tab gets the card out of a toploader without tweezers.

I STORE OR SHIP IT
Sleeve first, then a Toploader Card Shield: the sleeve prevents scratches, the 35pt PETG shield prevents bends and blocks UV.

I'M SENDING IT TO GRADING
Inner Card Sleeve plus Semi Rigid Card Shield — this is the combination grading services require. Never submit in a toploader.

IT CAME BACK GRADED
PSA Graded Slab Sleeve over the slab; for display, add a stand or keep raw grails in a Magnetic Card Case.

FAQ

In which order do I double sleeve?

Card into the Inner Card Sleeve opening up, then both into a Base or Pull Tab Sleeve opening down. The two openings face away from each other, sealing the card against dust and moisture.

Can I use a Magnetic Case instead of a toploader?

Yes — for cards you want to display or protect long-term. The acrylic case adds UV resistance and a snap-lock closure. For shipping between collectors the toploader is lighter and cheaper; always sleeve the card first in both.

What do I actually need as a beginner?

Honestly: Base Card Sleeves plus a few Toploader Card Shields cover 90 % of collections. Add the full chain for cards you would be upset to damage — and always for anything heading to a grader.

Do the sleeves fit into the toploaders?

Yes — that is the point of the system. Sleeves and shields are sized to the micron for each other: the sleeved card slides in without bunching.

What does 35pt mean?

"pt" (points) states card thickness: 1 pt = 1/1000 inch. Standard trading cards are ~35pt, so a 35pt toploader fits standard cards. Thicker patch or relic cards need 55–130pt holders.
